Customer Review: Paper wont feed
Other features, such as the scanner, work fine, and it prints fine, the trouble is, I have to push the paper in to get the printer to grab it (paper wont feed). I can't print more than one page at a time. I DO NOT recommend this printer to anyone. Completely disappointed in it.
Customer Review: Mine was a piece of garbage
I think I got a lemon, but this thing has given me nothing but trouble, which surprises me since it's an HP product. I can't even comment on the copying or scanning because I never got around to using these features. Simply printing was such a hassle that I'm going to get rid of this thing and get a simpler, cheaper printer from another company. First of all, it is terrible at feeding paper, even using recommended HP paper. I found myself pushing the top sheet in manually most of the time to avoid the "printer is out of paper" message. In addition, there were two software problems that made me pull my hair out. The first was an ink cartride error message to check the color cartridge, which came with the printer. HP support has a patch for this problem, but they say you have to replace the cartridge before installing the patch. Excuse me, but I'm not paying $30 to replace a brand new cartridge because of a known issue. HP should send new ones free-of-charge. The other issue was that the printer would, when turned on to print, be offline, and thus unable to print. Selecting "use printer online" did not work, and only restarting my computer brought the printer back online. This effectively eliminated all on-a-whim printing. I couldn't find a resolution for this on HP support. Should have filled out my warranty card, I guess.
